The Fast Reactor training facility, consisting of the sodium handling training facility and the maintenance training facility, is opened nearby the prototype FBR “Monju” in October 2000 as the Monju FBR Training School . 
The Monju FBR Tra ining School covers not only sodium handling technology and maintenance technology trainings but also FBR operation technical training using the Monju Advanced Reactor Simulator (MARS).  Practical training courses with harmonized lectures and exercises are consist of such as: nine simulator training courses; seven sodium handling training courses; eight maintenance training courses.
