Operation Course for Sodium Loop Purification System
(2 days)

Learn about sodium purity management technology, especially, practical training such as sodium purity management technology, corrosion mechanism by sodium, design basis of gMonjuh purity management, and experience of gJoyoh, in addition to sodium charge and draining operation. Sodium purity management technology in the FR operation accounts for an important position. Therefore this course, teaches knowledge and expertise through actual purification system operation.

Learn through the lecture basic knowledge of sodium, such as influence on the human body, and spontaneous ignition mechanism, in addition to observation of spontaneous ignition phenomenon, and practical training of sodium swabbing. Fuel Handling and Storage System Course
(1 day)

Learn about fuel handling with learning model through observation, in addition to the basic knowledge of whole systems, such as system component, exchange schedule, and fuel transportation sequence. Fuel exchange can be visually learned through the movement of the training model, which can simulate the actual movement of fuel handling and storage facilities of Monju.

Control Rod Drive Mechanism Course
(1 day)

Learn about structure or action of drive mechanism with learning model and computer learning system through observation, in addition to the structure or action mechanism of control rod drive with basic knowledge of reactor physics in the lecture, such as concerning between reactivity and reactor power This course learns visually about the structure or action mechanism of control rod drive through training model and motion of CG image, as well as learning the basis of reactor reactivity control without difficulty.

Mechanical Seal Overhaul Course

Learn about structure of secondary pump mechanical seal in the lecture, experimentally learn overhaul of mechanical seal with learning model, which closely simulates the actual machine This course teaches the know-how about overhaul technology on the sodium mechanical pump with training model which is of identical construction to the actual pump.

Non-destructive Inspection Course

Learn about nondestructive testing technique through individual training for dye penetrant test (PT), radiograph examination (RT), and ultrasonic inspection (UT). The training results are recorded as a requirement of eligibility for admission to the national examination. From this course can be learned the theory concerning PT, UT, RT, and know-how of inspection technology through practical training, and to get the training records which are necessary for eligibility for admission to the national examination.
